    The Hemel Hempstead MLO was one of the largest commissions of Aldington Craig and Collinge. The building was an exceptionally fine example of the ACC approach. It was designed with future flexibility in mind, so its demolition was unnecessary. In my view it should have been listed and converted to another use. Hemel Hempstead has lost a fine part of its architectural heritage,
